Tours are scheduled to coincide with the best times to see puffins and whales, with peak sightings typically occurring in July and early August.
In addition to our posted schedule, additional tour times are added as demand warrants.

Shuttle Service
Don’t have a car?
Our convenient Newfoundland shuttle service from St. John’s hotels is available for an additional fee, making it easy to enjoy the marine tour from witless bay ecological reserve without the hassle of driving.
Gatherall’s offers a convenient Shuttle Service with pick up locations at many St. John’s hotels. Shuttle service is available for individual and group reservations (contact Gatherall’s for group rates) on select departures.

Gatherall’s will honour all reservations and we sail rain or shine, however, it does reserve the right to cancel or to delay a departure in which case we make every effort to notify reservation holders in advance. Reservations can be rescheduled without penalty and cancellation of individual reservations (9 persons or fewer) up to three (3) hours prior to the scheduled departure without penalty or cancellation fee charges – 50% cancellation fee applied if reservation is cancelled less than three (3) hours prior to the departure. No charges will apply in the event of cancellation on the part of Gatherall’s.
Once the reservation request page has been successfully completed, a unique booking number will be created and assigned to the reservation and a confirmation email will be sent to the reservation holder. The confirmation email will include a link back to the booking should the reservation holder need to amend and or cancel the reservation (in accordance with the terms & conditions agreed to at the time of booking).
